Vintage 23" Uppdine Light Weight Path Racer Road Bike Frame & Fork that is from 1937. Not many of these out there, Nice Survivor, Awesome Very Early Path Racer all in Chrome with Ornate Lugs. The Size is: 23" or Seat tube 57cm Center to Center or 58.5cm Center to Top with a 57cm center to center top tube. The Head tube is 162mm. The 1" Threaded Fork has 96mm Spacing and the Frame Rear has 110m Rear Spacing. The Frame and Fork are Reynolds Steel 531 Tubing with Ornate Lugs. Frame takes British / BSA/ ISO Bottom Brackets. The Serial # is on the Head tube is 67526 while on the bottom bracket its stamped PLANF1 U. Frame and Fork is used, I think the bike was re-chromed a long long time ago, it may be Original Finish but I am skeptic, I feel like it was restored at some point, possibly back to the source for the restoration possibly in 1960s? Gorgeous Frame set, does show age, has some rust, decal & finish loss but a cool survivor. Cool Prewar Era Frame set. It was built with Chatter Lea Parts & 700c Tubulars tires and can handle 27" wheels ( Wheels & Chater Lea Parts Not Included ), Fork takes an early Compression Top nut.
